What is Kombucha Tea?


Sweet fermented tea made with use of micro-organisms called a "kombucha colony". The so called starter colony or Kombucha mushroom initiates the fermentation process.

Kombucha tea dates from around 250 BC during the Qin Dynasty in China. The Chinese called it the "Immortal Health Elixir," because they believed Kombucha balanced the body and helped to focus on healing.
